AisoWalker begins with Cornelia — artist, founder, and the hand behind every original canvas. Born in Aipeana village, Papua New Guinea, and now based in Perth, Western Australia, her bold, gestural paintings in crimson, cobalt, gold and black have always been too alive to hang quietly on a wall.

For a long time, she wasn't sure anyone would want them.

So instead of selling the paintings, she decided to put the art on something people could wear. What she needed was a way to bring the canvases to life on fabric. That's where Maria Lee came in.

In 2018, Maria was 12 years old and still in primary school. She sat down with her tablet and Ibis Paint, and began transforming her grandmother's original canvases into seamless digital repeat prints — not because she was asked to, but because she wanted to help make the dream real. The Cornelia Collection. The Chromatic Rise. The Maria. Every print began with a grandmother's brush and a granddaughter's belief.

Maria has just turned 20. The dream she helped start is now going to the world.

We print on silk. We make scarves, dresses, kimonos, shirts — small batches, limited editions, each piece traceable back to an original artwork. Nothing is mass produced. Nothing is accidental.

Our roots stretch beyond Perth. We are connected to Fremantle's artisan community, to the music and culture of Papua New Guinea, to the Indigenous stories of this continent, and to the global conversations happening wherever art, fashion and identity meet.

Our first international ambassador is a man from Catalonia, Spain, whose family has been connected to our corner of Papua New Guinea since the 1960s. He wears our Bird of Paradise polo through Barcelona and back to PNG each year. Some connections are too old and too deep to be called coincidence.

We don't follow trends. We make wearable art for people who know the difference.
